Our Process

Making the Leather

We source only the top 1% of North American cattle hides. Our leather comes from the only two American tanneries that uphold a four-generation tradition of Old-School vegetable tanning—a meticulous, time-honored process.

The hides soak for weeks in large vats of natural tannins from Mimosa, Wattle, and Quebracho trees, with experts carefully monitoring temperature, acidity, and saturation. Afterward, they undergo dyeing, conditioning with oils and waxes, and a three-day controlled air-drying process before final grading. We select only the finest hides for your belt.

Making the Belt

Each belt is handcrafted from the strongest, thickest full-grain leather, ensuring durability and a one-of-a-kind character. No two belts are alike.

Depending on the design, our process includes:

✔ Cutting to length

✔ Edge rounding & burnishing

✔ Tooling & dyeing

✔ Skiving & conditioning

✔ Precision hole punching

✔ Sealing & hardware installation

✔ Pre-shipment inspection

Every belt is crafted with care and is built to endure.
